Linda has two elder brothers and one elder sister. She was once on the show The Price is Right, where she won a fireplace. She likes to study martial arts. Her favourite actress is Bette Davis. Linda was named #96 Sexiest Woman in the World in FHM's 2006 poll. She enjoys horseriding and has a horse named Zip. She loves art, and her favourite artist is Margaret Keane. Linda is good friends with James Gunn, and has worked with him a number of times professionally as well as being mentioned frequently in his personal blog. She went to high school in Mountain View, CA. Her parents are named Lorraine and Wayne. Linda wanted the part of Velma in Scooby Doo so badly, she wore the costume to her audition. Her idol is Mother Theresa. She was born in Redwood City, California. Linda was nominated, along with her Brokeback Mountain castmates, for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble Cast. When asked which star she was most excited to meet, Linda named Margaret Keane, her favourite artist. She went to Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She has Irish and Italian heritage. Linda enjoys the TV shows The Office and South Park. Linda's previous boyfriends include Jason Segel and Nicholaus Goossen. She suffers from allergies. She said that the person she would most like to resemble is Vivien Leigh. Apparently, Linda wrote an Oscars acceptance speech when she was 8 years old and performed it in her living room. Her mother still has it on tape and promises to play it back when Linda wins an Oscar in reality! She first decided to take up acting when she won a role in a school production of The Music Man. Her favourite food is doughnuts.
