1975 - 1993
Born June 25th, 1975 in Redwood City, California.
Grows up in California with her older siblings and parents.
Went to school in Mountain View, California.
Enjoys singing and, at age 11, is cast in a school production of The Music Man.

1994 - 1997
Graduates high school and moves to Los Angeles to persue an acting career.
Makes an appearance on game show The Price is Right and wins a fireplace.
Begins acting with small appearances in advertisements etc.
Lands first television role in 1996, in Bone Chillers.
Lands first film role in 1997, in Good Burger.

1998
Continues acting mainly in television guest roles.
Has a small role in Dead Man on Campus.
Stars in Dee Snider's horror movie, Strangeland.

1999 - 2000
Lands breakout role as Lindsay Weir in Freaks and Geeks.

2001 - 2002
Plays Chutney Windham in Legally Blonde.
Graduates with a theatre degree from Loyola Marymount University.
Auditions for the role of Velma in Scooby Doo (and wears the costume to her audition!).
Scooby Doo is released in 2002.

2003 - 2004
Cast as Nurse Samantha Taggart in ER.
Cameos in Lollilove alongside boyfriend Jason Segel and friends James Gunn and Jenna Fischer.
Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed is released in 2004.

2005 - 2008
Lands the role of Cassie in Brokeback Mountain.
Nominated for awards alongside Brokeback Mountain co-stars (Best Ensemble Cast).
Stars in Grandma's Boy and Comanche Moon.

2009
Finishes 6-year run on ER when the show ends.
Provides the voice of Bliss Goode in The Goode Family.
